Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is accommodated head to toe, whether on the streets, at events or even casual clothes at home. Balancing out clothes with appropriate summery accessories is a big feat, or at least for some.

Apart from clothes, fashion is reflected through you crockery and cutlery. This is important to some of us than most of us.

Missed all the amazing fashion events like exhibitions or indoor parties?

Don’t worry. Summer is fast approaching and so are blossoming colours for both males and females.

Starting with the top most and much awaited international fashion hints, the colours you need to wear this summer season, if you want to look like a runway fashionista are rose quarts, crimson peach, snorkel blue and lilac grey for females and black, true blue, blanched almond and pale green for men.

Deciding colours is an easy job but deciding the cuts is what requires the most attention.

Internationally, the ‘Wonka couture’ for females is the latest fad. It reflects the era from the 1950s and ’60s with its inclusive fabulousness of shape.

These gowns are reworked as shorter and more casual pieces. Wear these with a pair of trainers and make this work for the everyday.

Personality-packed volume dresses for spring are as hot as pone cake.

However if we have an eye on our national runway trends, it is quite simple and perfect for summer in some parts of the world. To be trendy, wear all white with an ajrak duppata and glamourise it with any pastel colour. You’ll be the lady of the evening. Talking more about cuts this season, it is seen that jumpsuits are still in drift and guess what! Shalwars are back too. Not the usual ‘classic’ shalwars we wear, but a trendy version of them called tulip shalwars.

With these dresses, returning back from the era of the ’60s, the elegance of the dress is completed with a nice pair of shoes. Square heels are having a rebirth. They are comfortable and look sophisticated.

Talking about the trends for men internationally, double-breasted coats or jackets will look nice with formal suiting. We’re not talking about tightly tailored, body-con – the kind that was big news in 2015 – rather big, baggy, super-fluid double-breasted suits with plenty of room for the big belly you might have. The best thing about these double-breasted suits is that they’re best worn open.

Pastel coloured kurtas with straight pyjamas will look good.

With innovative cuts for males, their shoes are equally important to reflect their handsomeness. Like so many types of shoes, the brogues are known to be as a far more utilitarian shoe than the way we wear it today. The holes in brogues are originally there to help drain water after crossing bogs and swamps in muddy areas. Today, we think of the brogue with a little more respect. Hopefully, you won’t find yourself immersed in muck when wearing them. For versatility, opt for dark brown brogues for formal occasions and lighter brogues for casual days. Black brogues work best with a suit but don’t get carried away and wear them to a black tie event. When buying brogues, remember as a rule of thumb, the more broguing on the shoe, the less formal it is.
